CLUB Nights

The club meets on the last Thursday of each month (with the exception of December) and is open to everyone who has an interest in Woodturning and are held at the Headway House, Trenchard Avenue, Credenhall HR4 7DX which is also the home to our dedicated woodworking workshop.

Meetings start at 7.30pm and run through to 10.00pm and are free to members. A small charge is made for non-members of £3

Paul will be showing us how to make a wooden flask incorporating a range of techniques and advice

Showing us how to use Axminster's coarse threading tools (available to borrow from the club) and as a bonus making some really cheap pens

Something a bit different - we've got several speakers talking about woodland management and in particular the Black Poplar in Herefordshire

Three lathes out and your chance to try out various tools and techniques. Also in response to popular demand we'll have three sharpening systems available so bring in those tools that you can't quite get an edge on
